Success is not measured by how high we go up in life. But rather by how many times we bounce back when we fall down. Well isn’t life just like boxing…You are declared lost not when you fall down but when you refuse to rise. Nothing worthwhile in life comes without struggle. This is best explained by butterflies,
Butterflies struggle a lot to come out of their cocoon, but just in case you pity them and break its cocoon the butterfly soon dies. This is because during the struggle to come out of the cocoon the butterfly actually strengthens its wings, but by helping it we deprive it of its struggle and they soon die.
What do we learn from this?? That with struggle comes strength. We all have problems and sometimes feel discouraged. BUT real winners don’t get disheartened; the answer is perseverance. Nothing comes easy in life isn’t it? Success is not the absence of problems, it is overcoming them. It is not what happens in life ..it is what we do when it happens to us. Ships don’t sink because of the water around them, they sink because of the water that gets in them. Never let circumstances put you down, never let things around you affect you. Because the most beautiful form of love in this world is self-love. Nothing can be more ecstatic than being so madly in love with yourself. The same boiling water that softens a potato hardens an egg!! Well isn’t it true? It is what we are made of, what is inside us that counts not the circumstances..It’s high time we stop asking the mirror on the wall as to who is the prettiest of all. You may ask why, I say so because you don’t need any lifeless object to define your true self-worth. Yes it doesn’t matter whether or not anyone compliments you, whether or not you receive appreciation. Whether or not you get a big thumbs up for the work you’ve done. Do not expect appreciation for what you have done for, you are the biggest critique of your own life. If anyone has the right to approval then it is YOU. Do not misinterpret what I say with “not taking suggestions from anyone”. Taking suggestions is sure enough a positive trait but what I mean is that when you say a yes to someone make sure you never say a no to yourself. Unless a person is at peace with himself he cannot be in peace with others.
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
To hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And Eternity in an hour….
